Can you tell me why you have been so...|W|P|113410785511018691|W|P||W|P|cameronk@gmail.com12/05/2005 08:32:00 PM|W|P|aliencam|W|P|well i'm posting again even though it doesn't seem to be working... i can't post and i don't know why... actually, brb ima try something... why am i saying "brb" On my blog....|W|P|113383997726679877|W|P||W|P|cameronk@gmail.com12/04/2005 10:17:00 PM|W|P|aliencam|W|P|been awhile since i posted le last, and yeah everythings been really great and im really not supposed to be posting, i pormised myself i would go to bed by 9:30 and its 10:20 already... so yep, time for bed...later lol anyway, yeah... today and yesterday i worked all day, and john(my manager) and i decided we hate registers and datavantage and their stupid store 21 register program and modems and just those two bastard computers in general... lemme give you a little background... we've only had one register for about 3 weeks... register one was the one that broke of course, so when it broke it took five hours to download all the drivers onto register 2 so it could run by itself... okay yeah that was awhile ago though, and ever since then they've been sending us stupid shit that doesn't help us at all to "fix" register one... lets see, they've sent us the plastic piece ont he front that covers the USB ports, a new power button, new PSU and a few other things, each time sending out a technition that is a minium $75 call and then $30 an hour after that, and we told them and the technitions told them that it was the hard drive that wan broken in the bvery begining, but they wouldnt listen and it took forever for to get someone to do something about it... so we finally get in a "new" register (We get a refurbished one from some other store...) and they DONT send out someone to set it up (not really a problem, john worked in computers forever and im not even going to say anyhting about myself) but yeah, so we set it up and it pretty much works even though it took 2 hours to set it up as register one and the other one as register 2 again, so yeah pain... and then a few days later (yesterday) the credit card amchines don't work... the modem is down and we dont knwo why but it will only be that day they tell us... how a hardware problem can be limited ot one day one store and stuff is possible... oh well, thats what they said and they're stupid... but so yeah we went a SATURDAY (guess what, saturday is the bsiest day fo the week) without any credit card machines!! we got to call in every single card transaction on the phone manually... and let me tell you, american express with your fking voice recognition service instead of just key entry, and the fact that it doesnt wait for you to finish eneing it before it says "sorry, thats not correct, please re-enter" (omg discover card thank you for "press the pound sign when you are done") you ahve toenter a friggin seventeen number string for the merchant ID in ONE string without any pauses for stupid amex!!! t took me forever, like 3 tries every time... and then i had to putin the card number and ammount, and amex wants you to "round to the nearest dollar" for authorization... which is annoying.... okay so yeah that day was a PAIN IN THE *FACE* (yes, pain in the face, stfu nerd)but, we put out the bounce-house display out front and so yeah we sold 2 of the bigger $250 model and one smaller $200 model... so awesome, i sold BOTH the $250 ones, and gues that that means?
